Scarth A.D. 2195 is an English language comic strip.[1] The protagonist in this comic strip was injured deliberately to prevent her entering an intergalactic beauty competition. However, despite the disfiguration, she appeared with jewels over her scars and won the competition, thwarting her enemies.
This comic strip appeared in British newspaper The Sun during the late 1960s, as a spin-off from Garth which featured in the Daily Mirror. The creators, Luis Roca (illustrator) and Jo Addams (writer) changed the Scarth comic[2] in 1972 to become Scarth A.D. 2170.[3] Les Lilley is also credited with directing the storylines of Scarth.[4]
